Some of our Site’s functionality can be used without revealing any personal information, though you may be required to register in order to be granted access to certain information, services and/or products on our Site. At the time of registration, you may be prompted by one of our online forms to provide certain “Personally Identifiable Information” (i.e., information that can be used to identify you) to us, including by way of example and without limitation, your name, company name, email address, phone number, skill sets, training, licenses and background information. If you are not required to register to use the Site and do not otherwise post Personally Identifiable Information to the Site, then the only information we collect will be “Non-Personal Information” (i.e., information that cannot be used to identify you). Non-Personal Information includes information such as the web pages that you have viewed. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the Personally Identifiable Information you submit to Straightaway. Inaccurate information may affect your ability to use the Site, the information you receive when using the Site, and our ability to contact you. For example, your email address should be kept current because that is one of the primary manners in which we communicate with you.
WHAT YOU CONSENT TO BY USING OUR SITE
WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We gather two types of information about users through the Site:
When users come to our Site, we may track, collect and aggregate Non-Personal Information indicating, among other things, which pages of our Site were visited, the order in which they were visited, when they were visited, and which hyperlinks were “clicked.” We also collect information from the URLs from which you linked to our Site. Collecting such information may involve logging the IP address, operating system and browser software used by each user of the Site. Although such information is not Personally Identifiable Information, we may be able to determine from an IP address a user’s Internet Service Provider and the geographic location of his or her point of connectivity.
You should be able to control how and whether cookies will be accepted by your web browser. Most browsers offer instructions on how to reset the browser to reject cookies in the “Help” section of the toolbar. If you reject our cookies, many functions and conveniences of this Site may not work properly.
If you come to the Site from an online banner ad, an anonymous identification number may be passed to the Site. This information cannot be used to gather any Personally Identifiable Information about you. It will only allow us to track the overall effectiveness of our online advertising, marketing and banner advertisement campaigns.
PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION
We collect Personally Identifiable Information that you provide to us when you sign-up for email updates, referral services, or online courses, upload a resume, participate in our public forums, send us email messages, participate in online courses or receive other services on or through our Site.
You may have the option of completing an online poll or quiz at the Site from time to time. Participation in polls and quizzes is completely voluntary and it is your choice whether or not you wish to disclose your Personally Identifiable Information to us in connection with any such poll or quiz.
You may contact Straightaway through the “Contact Us” feature. Participation in this area is completely voluntary and it is your choice whether or not you wish to disclose your Personally Identifiable Information to us.
In connection with chargeable services, we will also collect payment information (e.g., the last four digits of credit card numbers and related verification information). Please note that Straightaway only has access to the last four digits of credit card numbers, and does not store full credit card numbers.

If you agree to provide this information to Straightaway, Facebook or Google will authenticate you and redirect you to the Site. Please note, when you log in to the Site using your Facebook or Google account, Facebook or Google will cookie you in order to authenticate you as a Facebook or Google user.

Please also note that closing your account may result in you losing access to all Straightaway products.
Straightaway reserves the right to keep any materials in a closed account as necessary to preserve and protect its rights to the extent permitted by law (for example, to preserve records of a dispute) or to comply with its obligations under local law (for example, if requested to retain by law enforcement). A closed account does not mean that all of the data is expunged from the Straightaway systems, although it will not be readily available under your original account name. When you press the close account button on the dashboard, Straightaway will begin to process that instruction within 24 hours and will have completed the operation within 40 days.
If you have an employer or school account, you may close an account at any time by contacting email@example.com. Please note that Straightaway must preserve business records pertaining to that account to comply with its obligations under law.

Straightaway may send you emails to alert you to various opportunities or offers available at the Site. If you do not wish to receive any of these offers, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org requesting removal from our mailing list along with the type of e-mail you no longer wish to receive (i.e. forward the e-mail you desire to unsubscribe from). This opt out does not apply to information provided to you by e-mail as a result of a purchase made on our Site (e.g., a transaction receipt), or as a result of a customer service request initiated by you.

To protect the privacy of personal information provided by you, Straightaway employs, whether itself or through third-party providers, industry-standard controls measures to secure information.
