When a new customer decides to move forward with Straightaway, their first question is, what happens next? While there are several things that must happen to go live with CNA Edge, getting started is fairly straightforward. It’s easy to become overwhelmed when you hear the term “implementation,” but we assure you that it’s not as highly technical as it sounds. Our implementation is more of a change management process – one that Straightaway’s Client Care team will shepherd you through.
As soon as possible after signing, Straightaway will host a 15-minute welcome call with the executive sponsor of the project. The goal of this call is to exchange initial information and set expectations regarding our cadence of communication – and most importantly, ensure that we are aligned with the messaging to facilities. We want to help you set the stage for change management by helping facilities understand why this is an important initiative for your organization and let the instructors know what an important role they play in its success. To help facilitate this communication, Straightaway will even provide you with an email template and a link to a video that helps establish some context prior to the kick off call with your facilities.
Next up is the kick-off call. This is when we introduce your administrators, DONs, and nurse educators to the program and establish a timeline for hitting key milestones. You’ll meet key members of our team as well. We’ll talk nuts and bolts and help you determine the best method of delivery (instructor led or hybrid) and determine duration of your course so we can begin working on your course syllabus and schedule.
We will move quickly toward helping your facility become an approved training site utilizing the CNA Edge courseware. Because you must have state approval prior to launching your course, helping you complete and submit the application will be our sole initial focus. During the Kick-Off Call, you will meet a member of our Regulatory Success team who will guide you through this part of the roll-out. You will continue to have regular check in calls scheduled with Straightaway during this time to ensure things are moving forward appropriately!
Instructors are perhaps one of the most important keys to your success, so we want to be sure they have the tools and training to be successful with CNA Edge. We accomplish this via Instructor Orientation, which can be done remotely or in person. When we are on-site, your instructors will have plenty of hands-on time with the courseware and do a teach-back to practice delivering the material. We also use this time to teach instructors how to enroll students and keep up with their progress as they move through the course.
Upon completion of Instructor Orientation, your instructors will be ready for their first class! Straightaway will be on standby as your first class goes live and we will check in with you periodically throughout your course to ensure everything is on track and running smoothly.
With the experts at Straightaway by your side, you’ll be well on your way to a successful roll-out!
